The Madrasah is located in the western part of Ichan kala,is the largest two-storey madrasah not only in khiva, but also in comparison to other buildingsin the Middle Asia. In addition tobeing an importantspiritual schoolwas possessing substantialproperty, it also housed the registry office of the Highest Muslim Court. The madrasah facadesare decorated with glazed tiles. Presently, it houses a hotel, tourist agency, exchange office and cafe. The blue minaret is located opposite the the main facade of Muhammad Aminkhan Madrasah. The construction of the minaret was not finished because of the Khan's death.
The hotel has 78 rooms. They are 41 twin rooms, 34 double rooms and 3 single rooms. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating system and satellite TV, a bathroom and hair-dryer. The Hotel has also offers the guests the following services: a restaurant for 130 people, a bar, an exchange office, a souvenir shop, free parking area and free unlimited WiFi.
